About the Project

Library automation is an area from where future benefits will emerge. This project aims to – Training of librarians in library automation, especially in open source library automation package KOHA. Setting up a central database with KOHA installation on Sakshat server. Suppport libraries in library automation and feeding bibliographic data in central KOHA database. Collation of already existing databases from different libraries and uploading on the central database. Integrating with existing database of INFLIBNET, DELNET to constitute a union resource base. Link project with National ERP Services of ERP Mission. Development of Indic script based interfaces and processing/retrieval interfaces. Z 39.50 server details of the project
